Prior Learning Assessment and Recognition (PLAR) is a formal evaluation and credit granting process.
It allows adult learners the opportunity to be granted secondary school equivalencies based on prior education, employment and life experience.
The PLAR process involves:

Grade 9 and 10 individual assessment/equivalency process;

Grade 11 and 12 equivalency process;

Grade 11 and 12 challenge process.
